2015 the MMB returns for our 18th year at NAB. Held at the Monte Carlo Casino on the Monday night during NAB. More food, more fun, plenty of prizes and great people.

The MediaMotion Ball is the longest running all volunteer and not for profit event for production professionals each year at NAB. First held in 1998, the MMB has grown to be the one dinner you 'need' and 'want' to be at during NAB.

Last years MediaMotion Ball was our biggest ever (over 400 people).The industry's finest gathered at a relaxed event that provided the opportunity you time to meet and talk with the 'who's who' of the video production, motion graphics, colorist and 3D fields.


The 2015 MediaMotion Ball

Attendees will enjoy a fine multi-course sit down dinner & dessert, mingling with their industry friends & peers and also participate in the drawing for our huge prize pool.


The MMB is always brought to you by the International Media Users Group (IMUG) and the AE-List - totally independent, non profit and volunteer organizations.

ATTENDEE INFORMATION ON MMB

the MMB will be at the Monte Carlo Hotel. 3770 Las Vegas Blvd. South
on Monday night April 13th and doors open at 5:30pm.
The main part of the evening begins at around 6:50pm.

We are in the Main Ballrooms - accessed via the main elevators at the Monte Carlo.

If you have any trouble - hassle a hotel employee for help.

Registration:
Bring your MMB ticket or Photo ID and present yourself to our friendly all-volunteer door staff.
They will check you off the list and give you a name tag and a prize entry form. Last year we sold out all tickets before the event and had no tickets available for sale at the door.

Fill in the Prize entry form and drop it into the prize barrel near the bar.
You must be present to win.
On the Prize form you will have the option to 'opt in' for some of our sponsors to send
you their information. Please check this box. Our sponsors make the MMB possible by funding the difference between the price for tickets and the actual cost to put on the MMB and it's a little something we can give back as thanks. Plus you can unsubscribe from their emails at any time.
 
If for some reason you cannot make it to the MMB please give your ticket to someone else and contact us (below) to have the name changed.


 
What happens at the MMB?
Relaxed sit down dinner, cash bar, many prizes, live music and great dessert. Plus a bunch of super creative people to talk to.
Our sponsors will also have tables where you can ask about their products. Please visit them and say hi. They make the MMB possible!

Look over the prize table and drool over what you might win. Remember, the MMB is a winners choice prize system. If your name is drawn YOU get to choose your prize from those remaining on the prize table.

Schedule of Events for 2015 (may vary slightly)

5:30pm - doors open
6:50pm - sit down at tables
7:00pm - MMB starts with a brief word from AJA our Platinum sponsor & first prize draw.
7:20pm - Dinner
8:00pm - Dessert, then brief word from our Gold Sponsors and more prizes
8:20pm - Short Keynote Presentation
8:35pm - break
8:50pm - Brief word from our Gold Sponsors and more prizes
9:00pm - Relax
9:20pm - All the rest of the prizes
9:30pm - One last 'big prize' for the final winner drawn. MMB then winds down for another year!
9:45pm - Head off to your next party or gathering

The International Media Users Group and the MMB lost a good friend and great guy in 2013. Paul Izbicki sadly passed away in August. We've created a memorial page to honour his memory here.
