About the MediaMotion Ball (MMB)
First held in 1998 the MediaMotion Ball is now the premier event for post production, motion graphics, 3D and anyone in the production field attending NAB.

Everyone is welcome. We have attendees from various email groups and
online forums.The IMUG
and After Effects email
lists form the basis of
the MediaMotion Ball. We also have attendees from DMN Forums, FCP User
groups from around the world, Pixelcorps, Digital Media Artists LA,
MoPictive, The Compression List, DLF, The Vidpro list and many, many
more.The event is not a 'Ball' in the traditional sense- so no dancing or formal attire required. Everyone can come as they are!
The night always features our famous prize draw. 2012 is the 15th anniversary of the MediaMotion Events at NAB and our first year at our new venue Monte Carlo. The MMB is unique in the NAB landscape - a non-profit event for users, by users and entirely volunteer created and run.
What do you get for your ticket?
Advance ticket purchase - $49 ($65 at the door - if available but unlikely) includes a fantastic sit down and relaxed dinner, wine and entry into the prize draw. There is also a cash bar. You'll join your peers for a night of socializing and fun and you might just leave with a great prize. Doors open at the Monte Carlo from 5:30pm and the night proper starts at around 6:30pm. Food is served from around 7pm. Throughout the night we draw from the sizable prize pool. Ultimately the MMB is about giving everyone the rare chance to meet and mix in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The MMB is run as a non-profit event and everyone involved is an unpaid volunteer. It's our way of giving something back to the online communities around the world that help us all everyday in our professional lives. Of course none of this would be possible without the support of our sponsors. Their generosity has contributed to making the MMB one of the longest running events at NAB.
